Engage with your Community

Interacting with your Community helps you build a stronger connection with your audience. You can show appreciation for viewer posts, highlight important discussions, and respond to comments directly within your Community space.

Reply to Community posts

Once a viewer has posted on your Community, you can leave them a reply.

1. On your computer, go to your channel page.
2. Click Visit Community.
3. Go to the post you want to reply to Click Comments . You'll see the Post comments page.
4. Type your reply.
5. Click Post.

To reply to a post from YouTube Studio:

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left menu, click Community Viewer posts tab.
3. Go to the post you want to reply to Click Comments . You'll see the Post comments page.
4. Type your reply.
5. Click Comment.

Pin a post to your Community

You can choose a Community post to stay at the top of the feed by pinning it. Pinning a post makes it more visible to your audience and notifies the viewer who posted it.

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left menu, click Content Posts tab.
3. Go to a post you’d like to pin, click More Pin to your Community . Click Pin to confirm.
4. Click Save. If you already pinned a post, this will replace it.
