PowerPoint

  • Edit your document with Copilot in PowerPoint: Copilot in PowerPoint helps you create, edit, and refine presentations through natural language—right inside your deck. Start a new presentation or build on an existing one by asking Copilot to generate slides, update content, improve layouts, and polish design, all while preserving your formatting, structure, and branding. This experience is available with Microsoft 365 Copilot (Basic). In addition, with Microsoft 365 Copilot (Premium), Copilot can also connect to your brand kit to apply branded templates, insert brand-approved images, and check for brand compliance.   • Fixed an issue where some add-ins didn’t display a banner/info bar when an external recipient was added to an outgoing email in Outlook.

  • Resolved an issue where users could not close the Copilot chat pane using a keyboard. You can now close the pane by navigating to the Close button using a keyboard or by using the assigned keyboard shortcut.

PowerPoint

  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused PowerPoint to close unexpectedly when opening a newly created empty file from the OneDrive folder.

Word

  • Use sensitivity labels in Microsoft 365 apps when connected experiences are disabled: Your organization can now disable connected experiences for privacy concerns without impacting data security policies, such as sensitivity labels. Services associated with Microsoft Purview (for example, sensitivity labels, rights management, ...) are no longer controlled by policy settings to manage privacy controls for Microsoft 365 Apps. Instead, these services will rely on their existing security admin controls in Purview portals.
