Public input survey
Washington's Water Future
July 8, 2026, 12 p.m. - Aug. 31, 2026, 11:59 p.m. PT
We invite your input on Washington's water future. This online survey supplements other ways we are engaging with communities across the state.
Ecology will summarize key findings and themes from meetings and this survey in a report, which will be published later this year. To find a public input session, see the related events at the end of this page.
About the Washington’s Water Future initiative
Washington’s Water Future is a statewide initiative led by Governor Bob Ferguson and Ecology to help Washington prepare for growing water challenges. This summer, we are hosting regional and sector-based roundtables with Tribal governments, local governments, agricultural groups, industries, utilities, environmental organizations, and community groups across Washington.
By bringing together many different voices, we are hoping to build a shared understanding of the current and future challenges, interests, needs, and solutions. These conversations and your survey input can help identify a range of potential future policy, planning, and on-the-ground actions to respond to impacts of climate change on our water and safeguard ample and clean water for today and for the future.
