So my review of the app is it’s “easy to use” if your just basically clocking in or out. If you are just checking a quick schedule that’s fine also! But if you are on the side of creating the schedules, approving time cards, giving clock ins for others and so on the app is kinda a pain when used on mobile. It NEVER saves the schedule if I create and make it from my phone on the app, it will say it’s posted then no shifts appear. If I receive a notification from the app and I have went and read it and deleted it the notification alerts will not remove from the app which is annoying for it to always show I have a notification for their not to be one. My ocd goes crazy because I can’t clear the notification off the app and I can’t stand having a notification alert showing as I check them always! Also I don’t like that 99.9% of the time my employees can’t clock in the app will just load and load and won’t let them clock in so I have to clock them on individually. Last but not least I do not like that the schedule comes preloaded and it doesn’t load enough people for all shifts or hours of operation, it also makes you click each scheduled time and day manually and remove to have a clear week to start building your schedule! Their just so many little things that make me want to sit with the creator and ask them why they didn’t add this or that or do it this way 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤣
The Time card entry is way too clumsy
Badly designed time card app
The layout for filling out a time card on the phone app is way too clumsy. First off you have to type in your start hour, then you have to scroll through the hours and minutes to put in your out punch. Then you have to hit return to get back to you’re next punch in of the day and type in the time, then for the punch out again you have to scroll to put in the out time for that punch. Please make it where there is one way to put in the time either typing the hour and minute and then a.m. or p.m., or make the employee scroll through the hour a minute and then. Another inefficient and time wasting design mistake for the time input on the app is once you fill out the first week of your two week pay period you have to hit a tab at the bottom of the screen to enter the dates for the second week and you have to do that for every single day instead of having all 14 days available to scroll down to if you fill out one day and want to go to another day in the second week you once again have to go to the bottom of the screen from the first week and hit the tab so that you can get access to the dates from the second week. It’s way too clumsy and cumbers. It’s just really stupid design.
