I’ve always used Safari but it felt I needed to have a Chromium based browser for some sites that render borked due to Safari plugins. I opt for Edge. It’s a pretty solid browser. From an average consumers point of view, it works as intended and I haven’t had a whole lot of problems with it or rendering any site. So I’d recommend it. My feedback is more creative in nature instead of addressing functionality.I do wish it had more customization options. Sure, I can change the wallpaper yet Chromium based Opera GX has the ability to change the icons. That, as a visual and UI designer is really cool to me as Im not a fan of the generic faceless tech corporate solid color or gradient icon on a plain white background, I’d love to see an inverse or some variants. With iOS 18 and changing icons themes, the Edge icon looks great in a dark theme but its just refreshing to see something other than the original uninspired icon design. And I’d also like to see more of the non-flat design language Microsoft is using elsewhere within Edge. I do like flat UI icons but with Win10 gone, I’d like to see some modernization. Microsoft has a library of soft and colorful graphics. If I worked at Microsoft (and I’ve tried) I’d champion customization and utilizing these colorful graphics. But they pay others the big bucks to keep using old designs.All in all though, as a functional browser, this is a great alternative to Safari or those who need to use a Chromium product.

...made a decision to go/start back to college, after a 39 yr. sabbatical...sort a speak!So, various Student Aid Admin’s state/suggest & “highly recommend” using Google Chrome’s Internet Browser(s) and sign up Microsoft 365 OS, and sign up for the free “student version(s)” of Office 365 Cloud based/downloadable for 1 User’s..(up-to) 5 device(s)!..., ..., I have expended “countless hours” over nearly (3) +|- months’ configuring & re-configuring, re-formatting p.c., re-journaling mac an iOS, And.. “countless more hours” conferencing | telephoning w/my ISP’s Administration Staffer(s) and Their 3rd Party’s On Boarding guy’s & gal’s around the globe attempting to merge 3 classes of the latest, most recent versions of MS Office 365 (Cloud) & (Downloaded)...college and/or higher edu. tuition fees’...I believe, cover the “Free”-Student’s & Teacher’s_M.S. Office 365 ver., and the Personal_M.S. Office 365 ver., which is a mandatory requirement to setup any new personal office setup!!Now I’m being solicited for $109 and up, for a one (1) Year Subscription, before it’ll allow my to setup M.S. Office 365’s (Cloud) One Drive, w/an enticing 1-3 TB (of) anything goes storage, before MS 365 (Cloud) Office will even begin accepting my Commercial (Enterprise) hosted business credentials educational system..age 13 - jr. high..college..graduate school..., THOUGH, I’m genuinely grateful & extremely excited to be invited, excepted, offered and/or participate with Microsoft 365 Insiders Offerings.
