  • Having power over what I search again

Found Vivaldi through a YouTuber after getting fed up with AI slop being pre installed on everything I use. I hate AI and I’m tired of relying on it for everything I do. Vivaldi not only lets me search for things on my own, but it helps me manage tasks. It’s runs 3x faster & lighter than safari or chrome while taking on 8x the load (seriously I accidentally get like 35 tabs open before I realize I should close them) and Vivaldi never shakes or quivers. I like it on my phone and on my PC.

  • The way browsing should be

I got so sick of other browsers always giving me AI overviews. Vivaldi allows you to search within countries, dates, file types which makes it really easy to find real information and sources. It feels like I’m browsing in 2016. It’s such a good browser. I’m sure the developers will read this review so I want to say The only thing I don’t like is it’s not easy to share the website you’re on while you’re at it. I have to copy the URL.

  • Recent update improved speed, still autofill issues but otherwise still brilliant

It seems like this last update did a fair job of improving speed and making Vivaldi more usable, so excellent stuff there! One item of feedback is that autofill from the Passwords app can be unresponsive on many webpages - sometimes it takes multiple attempts to autofill and sometimes it just refuses to autofill outright. If you could address this and continue work on improving performance Vivaldi iOS will be phenomenal!

Hi there! Thank you for the wonderful review and for choosing Vivaldi across all your devices. We understand how important a smooth keyboard workflow is on iPad with Magic Keyboard, and your suggestion to automatically focus the address bar on a new tab is a great one, we have shared it with the team for consideration. If you’re enjoying Vivaldi, please spread the word. - Vivaldi Team

  • Best browser

I downloaded this as I was looking for a chrome replacement (I avoid AI as much as I can). I tried DuckDuckGo and safari and Firefox but didn’t like the functionality of any as much as chrome. But Vivaldi has everything I’d looked for (tab management, ease of access to the search bar, won’t lag with many tabs open). Vivaldi has been really amazing and lets me completely avoid tracking and AI where other browsers wouldn’t. Start page, the default search engine, is also solid.

  • So happy I made the switch

I tried every European browser to replace chrome and safari. And Vivaldi is by far the best! It’s better than chrome by far!! I use proton email and the free VPN integrates with Vivaldi which is incredible. Vivaldi has its own mastodon so you can easily start using Mastodon instead of x. There are zero issues and I get privacy, safety which was what I really wanted. Oh and the best part was that it could transfer all the passwords from Google password manager. Super easy transition!

Hi there! Thank you for the fantastic review and for giving Vivaldi a try. We’re very glad the switch was smooth for you, especially with password transfer, privacy, and the services you use fitting so well into your setup. It means a lot to hear that Vivaldi stood out so clearly for you. If you keep enjoying it, please spread the word. - Vivaldi Team

  • Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall- I keep coming back to Vivaldi.

It’s a nicely configurable browser, which allows privacy settings and is compatible with Chrome for plugins. On the desktop, I am addicted to tab stacks and tiling, and somewhere there’s a button to send tabs to your other devices. Pretty nice. There’s occasionally a site that crashes, probably because of the privacy settings. But I’ve tried all the other browsers and even have them installed; but I always use Vivaldi.
