Check the new digs: the iOS app has been migrated to React Native’s newest architecture, Fabric. What’s THAT even mean? Even though things may look the same, the engineers have informed us that there’s ‘almost 20% boosts in typical app initialisation times’.
Alongside this speed increase, we’ve also fixed the following:
- We’ve fixed the channel list jittering and jumping around while scrolling.
- Patched up an issue where creating a Thread failed and instead took you to a ‘No text channels’ screen. It just left you in the abyss…
- Fixed an issue where selecting a sticker to send discarded aallll text you’d already typed.
- Fixed the app sending you a burst of in-app notifications for any messages that you happen to have already read on another device.
- Fixed haptic feedback forcing your device off mute and hijacking external audio outputs, like CarPlay. Vroom vroom.
We’ve also shipped a couple of feature updates across desktop and mobile: Message Forwarding now supports sending @silent-ly, and Channel Pinning is now available on all servers instead of just Community-enabled ones. Take a peek at the rest of the updates at dis.gd/PatchNotes

We have returned from the harrowing lands of Bug Hunter Burrows with news: the Bug Hunters? They found bugs. We fixed ’em. Everyone cheers! Congratulations! Congratulations!
• Resolved an issue where UI elements in the ‘Invite to Server’ menu, accessed from a user’s profile card, had sharp, unrounded corners that didn’t match the rest of the app’s design. Brutalist profiles when?
• Fixed an issue where Wumpus had wandered off from the empty friend requests screen. He’s back on the couch, chillin’.
• Resolved a bug where characters with descenders were cut off in in-app message notifications and search results. TIL there’s a word for those parts of letters. Is this one of those things I should have learnt when I was like 8?
• Resolved an issue where wrapping an image or GIF link in ||spoiler tags|| didn’t actually spoiler the embed. Now the entire embed should be hidden behind a spoiler again!
There were *over two hundred* more Discord fixes in the last month, which you can read over at dis.gd/PatchNotes.

There were a handful of bugs lately relating to certain parts of our iOS app being really, really shy.
Specifically, we fixed some issues relating to certain menus being blank when opening them, menus appearing behind other windows, which made them unreachable, and one particularly pesky bug where tapping ‘Open Profile’ on an Application from your DM list would instead *close* its profile.
Now that our iOS app’s no longer as bashful, now it’s your turn to pop into one of the servers you’ve been lurking in and say howdy. Afterwards, head over to dis.gd/PatchNotes to see the list of stuff we’ve fixed across every platform.
Heads up: Patch Notes is STACKED this month and there’s even a special section dedicated to quality-of-life fixes for server mods or admins.

We’ve shipped changes on iOS and iPadOS that help reduce your image upload file sizes by ~17%. Your images will post quicker and you’ll use less of your monthly data limit!
Voice Messages received fixes for those running iOS 26. If you were running into any problems with Voice Messages after updating iOS, your friends’ll now be able to hear you as clear as that fancy new glass design.
And even MORE updates, including stuff related to emoji reactions, visual flickers in the search menu and the ‘Join Voice’ button appearing when you’re already in a Voice Channel, can be found at dis.gd/PatchNotes.
(PS, we also included a *potential* fix for the media picker getting stuck and preventing you from interacting with it. But if you still run into this, please report it to us; steps to reproduce would be a huge bonus!)

This month, a collection of quality-of-life fixes gets piled up (like all your unread server channel notifications) to make up a big, Katamari-like update. There’s a bigger chunk of desktop-specific fixes over at dis.gd/PatchNotes, but we’ve plucked out some iOS- and mobile-specific fixes just for you below:
- Fixed a bug that caused the app to take upwards of t w o m i n u t e s to launch following a full device restart.
- Fixed a regression that prevented letting go of the Voice Message button from stopping your recording. It should work how it used to again.
- Sorting Roles in Role Settings should now work properly again.
- Fixed an iOS issue that caused message requests marked as spam not to render individual items properly; it would instead duplicate the first one and make it look like one person sent you a WHOLE LOT of DMs in a row.
- For Voiceover users, Spoiler tags and announcements of dates and hours for sent messages are now supported.
Now go and clear out those notifs before a load more start piling up that just say ‘@you hello ??’
